2026.02.20

TOKYO, JAPAN --- PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture; Director, President and CEO: Masahiro Ito; Securities Code: 485A) has delivered two units of its "Mega Power 2700A" grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS), with a total capacity of 4,936 kWh, to Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Inc. (Head Office: Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture; Representative Director: Hironori Kamiya) for a new grid battery farm in Maibara City, Shiga Prefecture.
The "Maibara Nagaoka Battery Farm," featuring PowerX's BESS, connects to the power grid in the Kansai area, charging during periods of excess electricity and discharging during periods of high demand to help stabilize the power supply-demand balance. This will further support the expansion of renewable energy in the region.
This marks the first delivery of PowerX's BESS to Chubu Electric Power Miraiz. It is also Chubu Electric Power Miraiz's first project in which the company manages construction, maintenance, and operations on an integrated basis.
PowerX will continue to promote the expansion of renewable energy in Japan by providing domestically manufactured BESS, contributing to the realization of carbon neutrality.
