Our Decarbonization Efforts
Policy
In addition to promoting the adoption of clean energy through the sale of our battery products, we are committed to reducing CO₂ emissions from our own business activities, focusing on those with the greatest impact on climate change. In advancing these efforts, we respect the long-term emission reduction targets set under the Paris Agreement and will set concrete goals across the Group to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
Goals & Initiatives
By the end of 2030, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality for Scope 1 and 2 emissions. Specific measures include switching the power supply at our Tamano, Okayama production facilities to renewable energy, improving production efficiency to reduce energy use, and adopting energy-saving technologies such as efficient lighting and office equipment.
