PowerX to Participate in the Inaugural “Setouchi Art & Industry” Festival This Fall

PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture; Director, President and CEO: Masahiro Ito; Securities Code: 485A) will participate in “Setouchi Art & Industry 2026,” a new art festival to be held for the first time this fall in the Okayama–Setouchi area. During the festival, “Power Base”—the company’s head office factory in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, where it manufactures battery energy storage systems and other products—will serve as one of the venues, exhibiting works by artists and opening its doors to the general public.

Setouchi Art & Industry is a new, decentralized art festival staged across a diverse range of industrial sites—from the salt, textile, and shipbuilding industries that have long supported the region’s development to modern industries such as battery storage and resource recycling. With working factories and plants as its venues, artists reinterpret the technologies and working landscapes of each site from their own unique perspectives, transforming industrial sites normally closed to the public into places that can be experienced through art.

PowerX shares the festival’s vision of rediscovering the value of local industries through the lens of art and communicating it both within and beyond the region. Together with its fellow participating companies, PowerX will contribute to bringing new vitality to the Setouchi area and passing on its manufacturing legacy to the next generation.
