PowerX Opens Its EV Charging Stations to Premium Charging Alliance Members

TOKYO, JAPAN --- PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture; Director, President and CEO: Masahiro Ito; Securities Code: 485A) begins offering members of the “Premium Charging Alliance” (PCA) roaming access to its EV charging stations on July 9, 2026. PCA is a fast-charging service in Japan for owners of Porsche, Audi, and Volkswagen electric vehicles.

As a result, PCA members can use eligible PowerX charging stations across Japan through the PCA app, with no additional registration required.

PCA operates a charging network of more than 360 locations* nationwide, centered on the authorized dealers of its member brands. With the addition of PowerX’s stations, located in a variety of settings—from commercial facilities in city centers to roadside stations along major roads—the situations in which members can charge expand considerably, from everyday outings to en-route charging on roadtrips. Even after the launch, PowerX will continue to improve convenience for PCA members by considering an expansion of both the eligible locations and the scope of its collaboration with PCA.

To date, PowerX has been delivering its “Hypercharger”—a battery-integrated ultra-fast EV charging system that it develops and manufactures in-house—to authorized Porsche and Audi dealers, both PCA member brands. Its systems have also been adopted at two “Audi charging hub” sites in Japan, which Audi operates to address urban charging challenges. This launch marks the first time PowerX’s EV charging stations are open to members of another company’s charging service, extending its relationship with PCA beyond the delivery and adoption of products to the service level.

Through ongoing collaboration with its partners, PowerX will continue to contribute to the expansion of EV charging infrastructure and the broader adoption of EVs in Japan.
