2026.02.09

TOKYO, JAPAN — PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture; Director, President and CEO: Masahiro Ito; Securities Code: 485A) announced that it will supply a total of 18 units of its battery energy storage systems (BESS) across two models, totaling 48.6 MWh in capacity, to six battery farms being developed by Nomuraya Holdings (Head Office: Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture; Representative Director: Kenta Nomura).

The battery farms are located in Nagano, Gifu, and Shizuoka Prefectures and are scheduled to commence operations sequentially from spring 2026. The selected products are the “Mega Power 2700A” and the “Mega Power 2500.” Each site will be connected to power grids in the Tokyo and Chubu areas, charging during periods of excess supply and discharging during periods of high demand to stabilize the power supply-demand balance.

PowerX will continue to contribute to achieving carbon neutrality in Japan by providing BESS solutions developed and manufactured domestically.
