Power Base to Exhibit Setouchi Triennale 2025 Artwork
〜Limited-Time Pop-Up Café Inside the Factory〜

PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Minato City, Tokyo, Japan; Director, President & CEO: Masahiro Ito) today announced that its Power Base, a battery assembly plant in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, has been opened to the public as an official venue for the Setouchi Triennale 2025— the contemporary art festival held every three years across the islands and coastal regions of the Seto Inland Sea. From May 1st, visitors can view exhibited artworks at the site in the Uno Port district.
Power Base, designed by acclaimed architect Kazuyo Sejima, manufacturesbattery-integrated ultrafast EV chargers, "Hyperchargers.” The exhibition at the site will feature artist Teppei Kaneuji's work "Model of Something," which creates complex and multidimensional patterns through layers of freehand-drawn stripes on transparent materials.
Additionally, during the festival period, a pop-up café by local coffee stand "BOLLARD COFFEE" will open inside the factory for a limited time. The café will offer special refreshments in collaboration with the renowned Tokyo-based Japanese restaurant "Aoyagi," located in Azabudai. Exclusive menu items include "Denki-Bidango" and "Denki-Binade."
