PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Minato, Tokyo, Japan; Director, President & CEO: Masahiro Ito, hereinafter PowerX) announces the appointment of two executive officers to strengthen its organizational structure for the expansion of its electricity wholesale business and EV charging station business.
About New Executives:
Yusuke Kojima: Power Business Executive Officer
After earning his master’s in engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2008, Yusuke worked at a major electrical manufacturer and a foreign consulting firm. In 2014, he joined a leading new power company as Head of Retail Electricity, growing the business to over 50 billion yen. Yusuke became independent in 2023, providing management support in the energy sector. He also serves as a representative director of the Renewable Energy Promotion New Power Association and as an academic specialist at the University of Tokyo.
Kohei Morii: EV Charging Business Executive Officer
After graduating from Waseda University in 2002, Kohei joined Mitsui & Co.’s Project Division, handling power project development and energy service businesses. Later he led new business development and was in charge of power projects in South America and global acquisitions in the renewable energy sector. Kohei joined PowerX in August 2022 as Head of the EV Charging Station Business Division.
