PowerX Receives Order for Grid-Scale BESS for “Nikko Battery Farm”

TOKYO, JAPAN — PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture; Director, President and CEO: Masahiro Ito; Securities Code: 485A) has received an order for 72 units of its “Mega Power 2500” grid-scale battery energy storage system (BESS), totaling 162.4 MWh in rated capacity. The systems are for the “Nikko Battery Farm,” a new extra-high voltage battery farm to be established in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture, with Banpu Japan K.K.
