New EV Charging Service "PowerX First" Now Available

PowerX Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Masahiro Ito) will launch its new subscription service, PowerX First, for its EV charging station business on Monday, November 18, 2024. This service offers EV owners an enhanced and cost-effective charging experience, featuring some of the industry's lowest pay-as-you-go rates and extended usage times of up to 75 minutes.

PowerX First is designed based on user feedback from the free charging campaign, Try! PowerX, which ran since late January this year. For ¥1,050 per month (including tax) or an annual fee of ¥10,800 (¥900/month), members can enjoy the following benefits:

At launch, many of PowerX-operated stations will support the service, with plans to expand to over 300 locations nationwide by the end of 2025. This allows users to take full advantage of PowerX First not only for daily charging but also for long-distance travel.

For those who do not frequently use fast charging, a pay-as-you-go option without a monthly fee is also available. This option offers ultrafast charging for up to 30 minutes at rates starting from ¥65/kWh (incl. tax). If slots are available, reservations can be made up to 30 minutes before use.

・Economy（Grid）：45 yen
・Regular（70% pure RE）：50 yen
・Premium（100％ pure RE）：55 yen
