PowerX Establishes Ocean Power Grid, Inc. as Subsidiary

PowerX, Inc. (Head Office: Minato City, Tokyo, Japan; Director, President & CEO: Masahiro Ito, hereafter PowerX) announced today the establishment of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ocean Power Grid, Inc. (Head Office: Minato City, CEO: Masahiro Ito, hereafter OPG), effective February 9, 2024.
The new company will take over the Marine & Wind Power Department and the specialized technology held by the parent company. Moving forward, it will focus on further promoting the maritime power transmission business utilizing Battery Tankers.
