Installation Planned at the Multi-tenant “Prologis Park Soka” Logistics Facility in Spring 2024

PowerX, Inc.  (Head Office: Minato City, Tokyo, Japan; Director, President & CEO: Masahiro Ito, hereafter “PowerX”) has received an order for a 20-foot container-sized stationary storage battery from Prologis (Japan Head Office: Chiyoda City, Tokyo, Chairman & CEO: Yamada Mikio), a leading global company in logistics real estate ownership, operation, and development.

This order entails the installation of a “Mega Power”  storage battery at “Prologis Park Soka,” a multi-tenant logistics facility located in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. This battery energy storage system will significantly enhance the facility’s energy efficiency by enabling peak shifting and peak shaving, promoting the utilization of renewable energy, and reducing environmental impacts. PowerX will continue to engage in the development of renewable energy infrastructure to cater to the needs of our customers.
