Etsuo graduated from the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Economics and completed graduate studies at Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School. He joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (now METI) in 1987, focusing on energy policy. In 2012, he became Director of the Policy Division at the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, followed by his role as Director-General at the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency in 2014. Later, he became Executive Director of the Organization for Cross-regional Coordination of Transmission Operators, and in 2019, Secretary-General of the Electricity and Gas Market Surveillance Commission. After retiring in 2022, he became a Senior Advisor at MUFG Bank. Since July 2023, he had also been serving as a Senior Advisor at PowerX.

After earning his master's in engineering from the University of Tokyo in 2008, Yusuke worked at a major electrical manufacturer and a foreign consulting firm. In 2014, he joined a leading new power company as Head of Retail Electricity, growing the business to over 50 billion yen. Yusuke became independent in 2023, providing management support in the energy sector. He also serves as a representative director of the Renewable Energy Promotion New Power Association and as an academic specialist at the University of Tokyo.

Deepak began his career in technical sales and field service at MAN Truck & Bus in India. He later contributed to the development of Euro 6 diesel engines, heavy-duty transmissions, and electrified powertrains at Tata - Jaguar Land Rover. Since 2016, he has led battery, high-voltage system, and charging infrastructure development at Mercedes-Benz Research and Daimler AG in Japan. He also oversaw safety and security assessments, and played a key role in developing the world’s first mass-produced electric light-duty truck, the FUSO eCanter, and its subsequent generations.
